PROS AND CONS

Portability is amazing, casing is impressively sturdy and compact, but the zoom swivel looks brittle.

To say that the picture quality is very good is an understatement. Optoma came up with this very intelligent little wonder. It is so portable that you can go as comfortable as lying down comfortably on your bed, ran a slide show on the ceiling and you’ll be taken aback.  With only an AV cable for the iPhone or iPad and a bluetooth or wired earphones, you already have an amazingly portable theatre on your hands. Moreover, the built-in speaker is good enough but works perfectly only when you’re just behind the projector. Otherwise, you will need external speakers.

However, movie viewing will be disrupted because battery life is not sufficient to last one full film, and will not charge well while operating the projector. Its cooling fans don’t do the trick very well as the unit can heat up a little too quickly. A small tripod is recommended for ventilation and also positioning. If you don’t have one, you will have to shell out more funds.

The remote comes in very handy because the control buttons on the projector are small and difficult to operate especially when they dim.
